AccountDojo keeps the account information you enter (tool names, the email or handle you signed up with, plan, cost, renewal dates, security notes) in a database inside your phone's own storage. It also keeps a short rolling set of automatic safety snapshots — CSV files written once a day into the app's own documents folder on your device, with only the most recent seven kept. That's it, and your phone is the only place any of it lives.
Your dojo never leaves your phone. Not one account, identity, cost, renewal date, or note is ever transmitted. There is no AccountDojo account, no sign-up, no cloud sync, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters, and no tracking of any kind.
The single exception is buying a belt. Brown Belt and Black Belt are one-time purchases handled by Apple's In-App Purchase system, and we use RevenueCat to confirm the purchase and unlock your belt. That exchange carries your purchase history (which belt you bought) and nothing else. It is never linked to your identity: AccountDojo does not know who you are, has no account to attach it to, and never sends any part of your dojo along with it. If you never buy a belt, the app never makes a network call at all.
AccountDojo never asks for, stores, or transmits passwords. It records where a password is kept (for example, "in my password manager") — never the password itself.
When you export a CSV backup, the file goes wherever you send it through your phone's share sheet. You choose the destination; AccountDojo keeps no copy.
Automatic daily snapshots are different only in where they sit: they stay inside the app's own documents folder on your device, are used solely by the in-app Restore feature, never leave your phone, and are deleted along with the app.
Belt upgrades are one-time purchases processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's privacy policy. AccountDojo receives only confirmation that the purchase happened.
AccountDojo does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children — because it does not collect information.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Any change that weakened the promises above would be announced in the app before taking effect.
